American cars: Oldsmobile and Pontiac

Oldsmobile and Pontiac; classic names recently discontinued by GM. Oldsmobile goes back to 1897, the brand was phased out in 2004.

The only Oldsmobiles I have are the 1970 442 Convertible from the New Ray City Cruiser range and a Hot Wheels 442 W 30 with big wheels.

I have more Pontiacs, another brand sadly discontinued by GM in 2010.

Pontiac was marketed as the performance division of General Motors for many years, specializing in mainstream performance vehicles. I have a selection of sporting Pontiacs (none of the ugly Vibes or Azteks). Blue Matchbox Firebird, black Hot Wheels ’67 GTO, blue Hot Wheels ’70 GTO Judge, red Maisto Solstice, red Hot Wheels Trans Am and a rather playworn white Matchbox Pontiac at the back.
