I have a soft spot for Royal Mail vehicles, I worked for Royal Mail from 1999 to 2009. I like the distinctive red livery with yellow lettering and crown logo. I didn’t work in deliveries but in the Worcester Sorting Office, so I didn’t actually drive a van.
These three vans are all produced by Corgi and made in Great Britain. The Land Rover and Bedford Van are Corgi Juniors and I found these at Drybridge Market here in Tbilisi. The Ford Escort Van is a standard Corgi model, which I found in Mary Shortle, a doll shop in York, England.
I also have a yellow Majorette Renault Kangoo “La Poste” Van, the French equivalent of Royal Mail.
